Gina Alongi

Gina Alongi has been employed by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 4 Fringe Benefit Funds for over 28 years. In 1996 she became Administrator and is responsible for the administration of 8 Multi-Employer Trust Funds including Health & Welfare, Pension, Annuity and 401(k). In the fall of 2007, she was elected as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Coalition of Taft-Hartley Trust Funds.

Alden J. Bianchi

Alden J. Bianchi is the practice group leader of the Mintz Levin's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice and a member in the Employment, Labor and Benefits Section. Alden has written and lectured extensively on employee benefits issues. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Suffolk University and Georgetown University law schools, and he holds an LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.

Kevin J. Counihan

Kevin J. Counihan is Chief Marketing Officer of the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority. He is former Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Member Services for Tufts Health Plan. Prior to joining Tufts Health Plan, he worked for CIGNA as Regional Vice President of Sales for the Employee Benefits Division. Jack Curley

Jack Curley has been executive director of the New England Employee Benefits Council since December, 1998. Previous positions include Senior Human Resources Consultant and Manager of Benefits Services, BankBoston; Executive Director, National Society to Prevent Blindness- Massachusetts Affiliate; and Executive Director, National Kidney Foundation-Massachusetts Affiliate. Charles J. Donahue, Jr. is the former President of HealthCare Value Management, Inc. Gerald L. Evans, M.D.

Dr. Gerald Evans has been a leader in the treatment and prevention of heart disease for over 30 years. He served as Chief of Cardiology at the MetroWest Medical Center (formerly Framingham Union Hospital) for 19 years where, under his direction, the department grew to include a cardiac catheterization lab, coronary care unit, pacemaker clinic, nuclear cardiology, and a cardiovascular rehabilitation program. In 1983, he was elected President of the medical staff.
